Problem setting up server

Hi, um i tried to setup a v62 maplestory private server using LeaderMS source. And i got the server up and running but loads of the npc's is not working and i get loads of startup error's, could someone give me some general tips for setting servers up? Like what java jre, jdk and so forth to use? Thank you and have a nice day

There are plenty of guides for setting up a server. Unless you've tried following any tutorials in the java based tutorials section, I'd suggest you start there. They usually tell you all installations required. If you have followed a tutorial, you need to specify what errors you receive in order for us to help you. Otherwise we'd basically have to type out an entire manual for setting up a server (which is basically the purpose of the tutorials for setting up a server).

Hehe, thanks i will try the tutorial section.
But currently i have issues with npc's with "importPackage"... yes i am very noob with this :(

It may be that you're using Java 8 try Java 7.

Allright, i tried that, but now i got problems when i open up the starting bat files, it cant find: " 'ping' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
Any help with this one? :) i switched to java 7 btw and its working better but this still remains
