    [V62 Client Port Change?]

Hello everyone, well I have a little problem here, I changed my LoginServer port from 8484, And I know this requires changing the login port inside the client aswell, but Stredit isn't compatible with V62 localhost, and i cannot find in hex editor, any help would be greatly appreciated !

Sorry wrong section ! Please move this thread when you can !

Temporarily, you could make a BAT File..

    PHP Code:
    start Localhost.exe 127.0.0.1 8484
Other then that, yeah v62 localhosts and below has a completely different encryption and therefore is unable to be loaded via STREDIT.

Also, I think the port is actually a packet, not an ASCII string. Because 8484 isn't 8.4.8.4, 8..4..8..4, etc. to be read.
It might be some packet like 38 34 38 34 (i think thats "8484"?) or something.

Why bother changing the world port? Just change your channel ports if you really need too. If your hosting two servers then just have a v75+ server.

If i'm wrong, please correct me.

Oh, so you can't use a tool to hex edit for you. Too bad :(

Anyways, here's how to do it with Hex Workshop iirc (I use STREDIT too because it's really useful)

Load the client, and keep a backup because you'll probably mess up a few times.
Press Ctrl-H (Replace) and search for 32-bit Unsigned Integer 8484. If it doesn't show up try 32-bit Signed 8484.
Replace it with port of your choice!

Will definitely try this.. Would this work on other Hex Editors such as HxD, etc?

I know right? Stredit would have been too easy haha, Odd how Nexon changed the encryption on the clients, Thank you for the help though ! I never thought too search for it as an integer :o
