We Need a Lua Tutorial

A well written one too, people like me will search for a tutorial like this but only find utter Dangle-Plums.

It's one of the first times I even heard of Lua on this forum... why the interest and supposed interest of our fellow ragezoners?

It took me ages to realize that tables (arrays) in LUA start with index 1. It freaked me out!

Because out of all laguages, Lua is basically excluded.
