Shared host can't provide 1000 players online. If i'm right, even VPS cant do that. Both are shared stuffs. So if some other user have some hard operations, your game will be slowed too.

False.
My old VPS handled 4 dboor servers and 3 ogame servers. all with 500+ players. and no lag.
But I will suggest you dedicated server. And VN travian
