config [Aion 4.9] Is it possible to edit mob behaviour ?

    Hello !

I'm actually working on a project in Aion 4.9, the version I used to play 7 years ago.
When I played the official version, it had a weird feature (or a bug, I dunno), where Maximum monsters would follow me indefinitively as soon as I attack them.

Few days ago I've managed to setup a local Aion 4.9 server, and I went to see if this feat/bug was still here. Spoiler alert : it's not, the max. mobs are "abandoning the pursuit" really early, like running 50/60meters is enough to make them flee.

My goal is written in the title, I wanna make sure they never abandon the pursuit, but I'm having a hard time locating the game server file who's giving this behaviour.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do, and if yes where can I find it ?

You can check the AttackManager, which has check Giveup Distance. Good luck.

    Hi !
First of all, thanks for your answer, it helped me a lot understanding some things about the server files I have.

I've made research about the "AttackManager" file you've talked about, and it's part of "src" folder, which is completely missing in my server files. Even though the server is working perfectly fine, it's a weird situation that retains me from doing what I'm looking for.

I'm considering finding another release, including this "src" folder, as close to 4.9 as possible.
