Aion 4.3 Repack [Aion-Engine]

Hi there,

as Nino states, for the website, u only need to add the port after localhost, in this case 3316. My host is on 192.168.2.0/24 network with 192.168.2.9 ip. I already did changes to that file to try out something but I still get the same error (No gameserver is available to the authorization server).

In fact, the default statement:

<iprange min="192.168.0.0" max="192.168.255.255" address="192.168.0.201"/>

should be good for all 192.168.0.0/16 addresses. What i don't understand in it is the fixed address 192.168.0.201. I changed it to mine, 192.168.2.9. For testing, i also added:

<iprange min="192.168.2.0" max="192.168.255.255" address="192.168.2.9"/>

but still the same. So, do you know if this statements is for allowed clients addresses or for allowed game servers addresses?

Puma, you didn't change anything else to get this working?

Now i've tried with both EU client and NA client, EU client simply states that the gameserver is from another localization, ie not EU. NA client states No gameserver is available to the authorization server. (6) I tried with the d3d8thk.dll from the Aion Engine forum with the NA client and i got further, with that dll i got to see the server name and when i click on it it gets stuck and goes no further. These three tests were performed with local 127.0.0.1 ip.

added port to the config.php gave me this warning: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at Z:\www\index.php:4) in Z:\www\index.php on line 30

I didn't get that error. Have you done the install process?

Btw, I didn't mention I'm using EU client. Zora, I think that it says that is for other location because u have to change the 2 for a 1 in the client startup batch file. I tried out your dll, thanks, but it didn't work :(. I'm installing all in a remote server. I'll try the whole thing in my local computer to see if I get this working.

Txalamar i believe the reason its not working for your remote server is because of the d3d8thk.dll, its set to use your local ip, you need a no-ip maker for v4.3 or 4.5 to set it to your remote ip.

YES finally got into the select a character stage on EU client, all i had to do was change the cc=2 to 1 like you said txalamar, thanks a bunch! although i believe i tested that already lol. now to import all the characters and accounts.... gonna take a while i think

it must be that! I installed the whole in my local machine and it works with out any changes.

Puma, right now I don't know were to configure smtp in the web but u generally need a mail server, your ISP mail servers colud be a good idea. Once I got this working I'll look to get mails working.

PD: I don't manage to find the right NO-IP executable to fix the dll to my public ip. I downloaded one (eXs.Emu.exe) but once used over the d3d8thk.dll I get another error when selecting server form server list in Aion client: Cannot connec to server. Do you have any link with a working no-ip fixer?

the file ipconfig.xml is also used to restrict clients. Now I can connect to server using:

Txalamar did you manage to get in using the NA client? and whicih no-ip maker did you use? I noticed i cant use the //add command with this release, also freefly doesnt seem to work.

I've only tried out the EU client. And I used the no-ip from this link:

This is the first time I use an Aion server as GM so I dont miss //add but I noticed it does not work. Is there an up to date GM commands list?

Hi,

maybe this is an offtopic here but, is a normal behavior in this emulator that mobs don't use skills? they just do basic atacks. And also bosses in instances loop their phrases.

We entered Rune Tribe instance and it's completely buggy. Damage to mobs is too low an instance mechanic is not working as espected. There are open doors, pats not patroling, etc...
