got any idea where to set the login server password?
because i see this in the gameserver config

1st of all i suggest you read some of the tutorials here on ragezone on how to set up a Aion server.
They are easy to follow using any of the different serve versions released on here.
watch the tut vids as well as they are far better than trying to replie to you here.

you will need mysql installed on your pc also navicat is best to use with it.

the root password you use in your mysql set up is the password you will need in the config files.

Example only = mysql = root password = test123.

sql pass will = 123.

configs look at carefull game server config main pass is test123,,,,,,loggin and chat will be 123.
loggin config will be test123.

the above is only an example.

read the tuts and look at the vids carefully also download ony of the chat version servers it will work as well.

You can try follow this video tutorial. I've done it that way, and it works with these server files. Try it !

login server and game server starts without errors. i'm getting crazy with this error.

I've solve this issue, was wrong ip configuration on launcher :(:
but, now, when i go on line, the game just stay stucked on server choice screen. close the game, back again and "your account is on line".

Forgot I something?

The problems was client version, i'm using 2.6 =/

when come out version for aion 2.6.0.4

It's already there and when you have 2.5.0.0 or higher, you can simply update.. :laugh:

@Dannybest: Do you perhaps know of a way to use GM commands in macro's? The GM commands all work ok when you type them. Then I tried GM commands in macro's, but then they don't work.. :*:
EDIT: FOUND IT! Just put /say before the command..
example: //kill in a macro won't work, but /say //kill works! Simple huh?

The same is with the Nest of Lepharists (ID: 1023) step after you kill the captain. I fixed it, perhaps it is pretty ugly...

after I read more than my brain can take, I seek help.
I have a 2.7 trunk / source, and I have the same problem as Aluc4rd has.
My Login and Gameserver is running without a problem, i can create an account (autocreation active), it get saved, but after login and try to connect to the server ariel i get
No Game Server is available to the authorization server. (6)
message.
I am fully down 'cause I cannot find anything that helps me.
Does someone has an Idea, and could help me pretty pls?

yes i have ideea about your problem becouse i have same problem but now i connect to my server.
So this wil sound like a transaction but arent!
please post a link with your 2.7 server files and after that i wil post the solution.
We wil both help this forum and users who im surely have the same problem.

There's another one: Petrifying Elim. This quest is part of the tests you have to do before you can enter the Abyss. Just when you want to give the essence to Naburu, the final step, you get a message that Quest 2130 cannot be found. Very frustrating! I have no clue how to fix this. Anyone?
EDIT: solved it for now by editing the database table "player_quests", giving quest 2031 the status "COMPLETE", but this is obviously not a real solution. This quest is part of the scripted Abyss training and as such has to be fixed.
