that we will bring up the first new aion server and every1 are welcome to join it we will have auto create acc so its free for all ip and game rates and we hope u guys can help us find the bug guys and having fun

Guys,

When I put the server together, i started all the files, then when i got to server select, i selected siel, then the game just sits there, doesnt go to character creation. What can I do to fix this?

When I had this exact problem it was a IP and firewall issue. Doublecheck your IP Address settings in the config file(s) and test with your firewall (TEMPORARILY) turned off. If it works, you need to add a rule to your firewall. I think I also had this problem when using a LAN address (eg 192.168.1.xxx) Try either 127.0.0.1 or your WAN IP.

Gave it a try, now it says "Cannot Connect to the Server"

just double check the ip address is 127.0.0.1 in the playaion.bat and also the mask in mysql if trying to join another game server check the "playaion.bat" in the aion "game folder"

should be something like this to connect to another game server

for your server "test"
