Sorry. I don't know where you could find server files for 2.1.0.1

Which file? There are many files under the ChatServer folder, so which one are you looking for?
Is it possible to use a 2.7.0.2 client? Or am I forced to downgrade?

Ok well, I guess I will be specific. Is there a link to explain to me how to make the 2.7.0.2 client work with this server? Or, would you be kind enough to explain it to me here? I appreciate you answering my question of whether it is possible or not. And, I apologize for assuming the obvious and expecting an explanation on how to do so. Hopefully I have been detailed enough in my question to give you a clear understanding on what I do know, and what I do not know, that way you are able to assist me further. Thanks.

Here goes :
1. Have your 2.7.0.2 client ready.
2. Go here -> game.dll and download the game.dll file (15MB)
3. Copy and replace the game.dll into your bin32 folder.
You should now be good to go.
If this does not work for you, please let me know and I will
upload my entire bin32 folder.
EDIT : I have uploaded the bin32 anyway... just in case.

Please try the game.dll first. If that fails, try the complete bin32 folder.
Don't forget to backup your existing bin32 folder.

Awesome, and thank you very much! For one reason or another the game.dll file you supplied gave me a false flag on my antivirus software. I have vmware and windows 7 installed in a sandbox virtual machine. I'll test this file out in there first to make sure it is clean (though I don't doubt you) I would rather be sure first. Thanks again!
EDIT: I'll update when I see whether this works for me or not. As well, thanks for the link to aiongemu, I'll check that out. Would it be better to just checkout the source here http://code.google.com/p/aion-galaxy...ource/checkout or is the thread you linked me to also up to date?
One more EDIT: I went ahead and followed the link to your up-to-date, configure-it-for-you server. It is nice to see someone make it so easy, but pre-configuring everything was a hassle, because I had to change all my old settings to be uniform with what this person's batch file does for me. If I use this server I should assume that the 2.7.0.2 client will work just fine? Seeing as how this is up-to-date? I suppose I will find out soon. Thanks again :)

By all means, please check the dll file and post the result back here. The file does not originate from me, it comes from Galaxy Emu.
I you goto the Aiongemu.com site, you will see a button called SVN in the top left. You can find the source there, or just go to :

Once you have the server installed, pretty much everything is configurable in the \gameserver\config\default.config file.
In there you can change everything from rates, to access levels, to whether GeoData should be used or not. It really is one of the most comprehensive configuration files I've seen for an Aion PS.
According to Novo, this server is set up to work with client 2.7.0.1 ... but it will also work perfectly when using 2.7.0.2 ( with the bin32 folder from 2.7.0.1 )

Change your port from 3306 to 3316 and try it again.

I think I already posted this error before but pitifuly I can't find the post if I did it....thing's that I can make the whole server to work perfectly but once I wanna connect to it with the client, this error comes out...it's bout the database not being able to create the new account...already checked that the autocreate option is on...maybe something's wrong with the client...what'cha guys think??...

Not sure what the problem is, but I'm guessing it's something with the "expire" field not being read or created correctly after an auto account creation. [ The value should be (Null) ]
Try to disable auto create account.
Then just goto your web browser and type http://127.0.0.1:8096
You can create an account there.
