Really need help If i do the ipconfig and no-ip launcher with 127.0.0.1 everything works fine.






But when i use my wan ip it do's not work.






I only changed the ipconfig and no-ip launcher. i have addad the ports to my router and firewall even try'd it without firewall.

pls help.

what's your gameserver's IP on MYSQL? it should be your LAN's IP but danny said 127.0.0.1 should work too :) on your default.config you need to change some of the IPs to LAN IP if you're host live smiles. that what i did and it worked for me with router :)

on my MYSQL its 127.0.0.1
ok gonna try change the IP's to look wat i can make out of it :D


Edit: ok now ppl can log in the game but i cant lol.

Edit: ok i found wat the problem is just in the database--gameserver leave 127.0.0.1 there. edit in ipconfig and add your wann Ip there and
delete the rest of the text till you have only this:

<ipconfig default="Your Wan IP"></ipconfig>

If you work with a .bat launcher edit it like this.

start bin32\aion.bin -ip:Your Wan IP -port:2106 -noauthgg -cc:1 -lang:en -noweb

now you can copy that .bat file and give it to your friends
to log on to your server.
and dont forget Danny's Bin32 folder ^^ Danny rocks haha.
ok now my prob was ppl could log in on the server but i could not.
i have fount wat it was so for ppl with routers be carefull.
your router need to support loopback or els you cant
go on your Wan Ip yourself. (Like me)

Now i know what to do just get a new router that supports loopback :P

nah u don't need loopback on router lol it's the settings :) try log in ur server with LNA" IP or local IP should work :) nor global's IP if the settings are right and all ports are opened.

ok tested it with my local ip and i can login and play.
but can other ppl log in and join to?

Yeah but when i put my local ip in ipconfig and launcher it works.
when i set my wan ip in ip config and keep launcher at local ip.
then i can log in but at server select siel i get this; cannot connect to server. i checked all the ports they are all forwarded.i downloaded a prog MyWanIp.exe and it cant find my wan ip but when i check on the net on My IP address? Free IP Address tracer and IP address lookup it finds my wan ip.


Edit: Here are the gameserver and loginserver files maybe someone can check them out and look if there is something wrong.

DSA ,your firewall is blocked it lol try to open the program with the firewall if you're using any other firewall installed beside regular XP/win7 firewalls.

and try to change this if doesn't work,

# LoginServer location
gameserver.network.login.address = localhost:9014

it's under default.Ipconfig, change the localhost to LAN"s IP or wan's IP

# ChatServer location
gameserver.network.chat.address = localhost:9021

I think to get it works you need to change it to LAN"s IP because there's an old post about this which needs to use LAN"s IP to work if you're using router.

and keep Ipconfig with wan-IP only not no-IP :)
my Wan IP worked with numbers not letters :) i haven't try no-ip.com lol

Hey I've set up my private server and i'm able to connect and create a character except until it asks me to enter a pin for the character. after creating one, it asks to confirm it and after entering the pin I get a response that it is incorrect however many times i try.

my client version is 2.1.0.9

any chance my client version has anything to do with it?

go in gameserver/config/ and open default.cfg and search for character passkey ( passkey.enable = true) make it false :P

I have a dynamic ip and I've already set up the hostname and everything. The server works no problem, I'm trying to figure out how to get the clients to launch using the hostname instead of an IP. I tried using -ip:<my hostname> but it doesn't work. I tried downloading that AION Launcher in the forums that has a .exe file and a server.ini file (I downloaded v1.1) and it doesn't work at all. Anyone know how to do this?

Hi...I made private server..But when someone try to pm me , it say that im off. So i put mine friend as admin..When i try to add him to group or anything it say that he is off but he is standing right to me how to fix it
