Dylan, there is an option in the gameserver properties that you can set to Auto-registration.
If you want to have a manual registration, you should code your own Php registration page.

It is recommended that you should make a new Database Aion_DB in your mysql to avoid problems.
I tested on my server where I was able to login & select a character BUT cannot enter to the world.
The game server will crash.
So If you are using Aion Lightning release, then use Aion_DB. If not, then use au_server_ls/gs.

You dun goofed. If you're saying that the location for the aion lightning repack was already pointing at the aion unique database when you downloaded it, then you sir, recieve -1 internets.

My bad. Sorry to mislead you.
Go to Loginserver folder /config/network/
open up network.properties & search for

# Create accounts automatically or not?
loginserver.accounts.autocreate = false

Then change to

# Create accounts automatically or not?
loginserver.accounts.autocreate = true

Restart login, gameserver...chatserver is optional.

hey @dannybest... You don't tell us how to make an account...

easy part :)
go to
loginserver Folder and go in to config and then network and open network and u will see:


# Create accounts automatically or not?
loginserver.accounts.autocreate=true

True = allow u to make auto acc
False = dont allow u to make auto acc

if its on True u can start server and open aion and write acc and pass so it auto make in the Db :)

Would still love to know how you run the game?

When i try to run the game using the new bin32 folder and the no-ip launcher i get a black screen and then it freezes on the black screen till i Alt+Ctrl+Del and return to the desktop to see an Error saying:

Failed to initialize the game.
-- The system cannot find the path specified.

Again i followed Dannys guides step by step so im alittle unsure how this happened.

Check if you have Direct X9 (at least) installed
Check if you have hte correct Bin32 folder
Add it to your Aion folder (replacing the old one)
the try to relaunch the game its really not hard.

and retry

To amke sure your doing it right follow:
Install Aion and update it all the way through using NCsoft Launcher.
Once that's done go to your Aion folder (Usually located at: C:>Programs and files>NCsoft>Aion)
Inside that Aion folder Delete the Bin32 that's already there and put in the one you downloaded from this thread(First page) (MAKE SURE IS THE RIGHT ONE 1.9 and stuff)
then with the no-ip files make sure your External ip is in there and launch the game try again.
(also make sure you have direct x)

I am updated to the 1.9 version, because i play retail.
Ive used the bin32 folder for 1.9.
I've inputted my IP Address into the no-ip.ini file.
I'm a Gamer, so i sure as shit have direct x installed.

Well considering i can load the retail client and run that without any issues, then i consider this as a problem of the private server.

Ive downloaded and followed the guide on this no-ip launcher which is apart of this thread and its not launching. If you dont know the answer then kindly stfu and allow someone that knows the answer to answer it.
