I downloaded gameforge client...
got 3.0 it stands... but can't find that bin32 ANYWHERE :S

Help to get the correct client? :S

Hi, I have a problem with the launcher, The server is set up and working and client is NCsoft /North America i tryed to start the launcher with these parameters "else if exist L10N\ENU\ENU.pak (
start bin32\aion.bin -ip:127.0.0.1 -port:2106 -cc:1 -lang:enu -noweb -nokicks -ncg -noauthgg -ls -charnamemenu -ingameshop -DEVMODE "con_disable_console 0" -DEVMODE "g_chatlog 1" -DEVMODE "g_auto_disconnect 0"

And it says "the client's regional code is not compatible with the game server"
I tryed to set NCsoft launcher to EU and try again,i changed "-cc:1" to "-cc:2" and still same error can you help me find the problem in my launcher?

You just need to write your correct CC on the server. You might have missed this point in the guide

It makes a Z unit...
Uhm I already had your privious ver installed or something... didn't wanna work so I tried this topic...
Uhm now I can't "Reinstall" As the Z unit is allready used by another unit...
So that said... it weren't enough to just delete the pack :S
How do I remove the crap so I can use Z and continue and install the database? :S

do not use .bat file after compiling the server. For example: When you compile the server u3j go to the folder. \ AIONEmulator and use .bat files on the server. Important: use your MySQL Server, not from the Guide!!

I was right. All who meet the same problem, remember, .bat file will not be able to join the server through the domain. Use the launcher to support domain connect

btw, what'd you mean by launcher ? which launcher i should use/(create) ?

Guys i have a router hg655b (dunno if its relevant that i tell you the name :D) and i tryed to make the server open for the world but i failed so can anyone tell me what ips do i have to change and where to put my domain name (no-ip domain name) please?

For the client, you can use NCSoft's launcher to download it (but don't let it update), then use Downgrade_3.0.0.8.zip to downgrade it. I got that client up and running with the Celestial core, no problem... Only took like 10 minutes on my first try.

Only problem I'm having is that I'm trying to make an official-like server and the drop/gathering/crafting rates are way too high. Modifying the config file doesn't seem to affect it, although I'll admit this isn't what I'm used to so I may be doing it wrong. Just gonna keep foolin' around with it until something sticks.

edit: Solved my problem. Just had to add ./config/default.config to a line in StartGS.bat.

Yes, the downgrade will still work. Should work for any NA client newer than 3.0.

edit: Sry, I re-read my first post and realized that's a bit confusing. It's just become a habit for me to type "don't let it update". hehehe

Ah, I thought someone might ask...

Open AIONEmulator/game/StartGS.bat in notepad and find this line:

java -Xms512m -Xmx1536m -ea -Xdebug -Xbootclasspath/p:./libs/jsr166.jar -cp ./libs/*;js-encom-game.jar org.jsemu.gameserver.GameServer

And just change it to look like this:

java -Xms512m -Xmx1536m -ea -Xdebug -Xbootclasspath/p:./libs/jsr166.jar -cp ./libs/*;js-encom-game.jar org.jsemu.gameserver.GameServer ./config/default.config

Save your changes and run the game server as usual, and whatever changes you made to default.config should take effect.

Just extremly confused as your notes in the CONFIG file... CLEARLY states... 3.5 version...

And I gone through the libs and alot of things... trying to TRACK BACK the darn TIME :P

So I can set that to real time... but no where to be found... only a java thing that I quite didn't understand...

Specially that it withdraws info from the database "Server_Variables" wich stands time = 72...

Wich does not say me a crap what that time would be...

But still it resets it some way to 0 all darn time...

BUUT the funny thing is that the Server_Variables AIN'T changing even thou the game time does...

So is this a "Upcomming" feature? Or just a simple bug? xD

I just feel quite supprised as it's such a full scripted server already that not the gametime that is quite basic for all events to start ain't fixed :P

Ah well please DO answer... this topic seams to have gone inactive but please answer... I REALLY need it... I have my server up... it works splended... but when we play we get the crash I were mentioning...
+ the darn game time resets and no housing... we REALLY need the housing as we are making a rp server ^^

Would anyone know how to make this server not listen to the 3316 MySQL database and so it listens to 3306 and connects?

Another question , the Apache server that the .bat creates , is it possible to make it listen to the normal 127.0.0.1 instead of 127.0.0.1:8096 ? Because this is really annoying me now. I can make it connect to the database without fail and the server is running fine but the thing that annoys me is when it creates the Apache server i can only connect to it. Whenever i put my WAN ip and add :8096 at the end it doesn't connect.
P.S I have my ports open so that isnt the issue.
