Aion lightning 4.0

Hi,

I had installed aion lightning 4.0 about a year ago, and deleted the aion na client.

Now ive gained back some interest in playing aion on my own time, installed aion > Version=4.5.0.28.

Probably gonna need to downgrade it, but what i could read sofar is downgrade to version 4.5.0.14, but some say bin32 from 4.5.0.10,

totally lost track in whats best at this moment as downgrade to what version at this moment and working with lightning 4.0

still looping on login screen, assume thats where the downgrade comes in to play

that would be your downgrade patch to bring it down to the client most emus support atm unless u have a core that supports 4.6/4.7

Do i need to replace the .dll file again from bin32 from dwarfpicker after the downgrade .. or not thx

you can repatch them u need to completely put the 4.5.0.14 bin back or it wont connect.

Hmmm,

Still stuck at login screen after the usual siel is the recommended server, when pressing ok it loops and not logging in.

somewhere i get Size index file 3118 should be 2048, have no idea how to correct this

also after the loop and back to windows i see on the gameserver Read-write 0 dispatcher Decrypt fail

if its 7 then u need to patch a d3d8thk.dll for localhost if its on a host then u need the dll to be assigned to your host IP,

if its 8 its the same as 7 but with the extra .dll for login

Using win7 copy-pasted the d3d8thk.dll from aion lightning 4.0 into my c/programfiles/ncsoft/bin32 file and in the aiol local bat i have changed 127.0.0.1 into my ip adress trying now :)

all i know is that i need to put the d3d8thk.dll from lightning 4.0 to my aion bin32 folder no idea what u mean with host ip and so on

i can do a bit more then turning pc off and on, thats it if u go to fast presuming i have a clue then im lost :) darn ncsoft why all the updates :(

the d3d8thk.dll is what lets us connect to private servers, XP and windows 8 became un supportable so what had to be done was a custom d3d8thk.dll for XP,vista/7 and windows 8 to login, XP is just a simple d3d8thk.dll made for xp windows 8 needs d3d8thk.dll + another .dll for it to be able to login.

as for your problem the bat ip is suppose to be 127.0.0.1 if the emu is on your computer, the d3d8thk.dll for locahost means the d3d8thk.dll was coded for the ip of 127.0.0.1 .

if you have i can set it up threw Teamviwer or w.e so u can get a better picture

Thx for trying TNT, ill try the 4.5 on a EU gamefore build like u suggested DL aion EU now and will try find the 4.5 emu :) hope i dont need ur help but if i do ill come back to this forum tomoprrow have to work early

Installed 4.5 emu got login/chat/game server running ... when i hit start.bat it appears to load aion then i get, 'it is not available in your country' how can i fix that plz.> solved
