Don't Forget To Upgrade Your Internet Bandwidth. This should be put into consideration.

Mate I'm not really into Aion Emu servers so I don't know how much bandwidth/memory the current emulators use, but from my experience with Java Emu's I would say:

    At least 2Core 1.6Ghz
    3Gb RAM
    10Mb download/1Mb upload connection

But there are lots of stuff that may influence the amount of players you can handle, like having the servers/databases on different HD's, etc.

The current Aion Lightning Emu uses around 1.2gb of memory to run. So 2gb would be plenty for a server. Biggest issue is make sure you net line isn't a weak one. If you do the math out you will realize a standard cable line like roadrunner can only handle about 150 players then you will start to get lag from the line bottle-necking. If your using a VPS or a Dedicated you should be fine to handle any count you will have, but keep bandwidth limitations in mind a server that runs 24/7 with average 200 players online uses around 1.5TB yes TB! of bandwidth a month. So make sure you too much because its better then not enough (just don't go overboard with it).

    I can offer you a Intel i7 920 with 12GB ram on a 100Mbit with 3TB Traffic monthly.
If u have a good dev team you can use it.
