Help with Client 2.0.0.2

I am using client 2.0.0.2 , am using http://forum.ragezone.com/f587/reale...-click-704931/ the one-click server files...and I am using the Aion Private Server Launcher (No-IP).v2.3.Deluxe launcher files. But every time I get "Failed to initialize Aion(1024) error" I have tried re-installing the client many times...tried a few different bin32 folders...made sure the dx9 file was in correct place....I am seriously stumped here. Can anyone shed some light on this prob? Thanks much for taking the time to read this and you have a great day.

I did not update the client as the ncsoft launcher reports their version to be 2.1.0.8 now and the server files I have only support as high as 2.0.0.5 (or so the read me says within the files). And your quick response is highly appreciated Gundum584...thanks for that.

i updated my client and it works so idk about you. you could try updating the worst thing would be uninstalling / reinstalling aion if it didn't work. if you have any other questions just post them here and i can help you.

I updated the client (it updated fully to 2.1.0.8) still the same error.
I tried repairing the client. Seriously stumped :( I have another high-graphic game that runs fine...so I am sure it isn't a prob with directx or vid card. I do not know what else to do at this point other than to ask if someone would kindly share bin32 folder of client 2.0.0.2.

try this

download this:

PlayFileForAION.bat
Download that and place it in C:/program files/ncsoft/aion then run that file and see if it will work. run it by double clicking it. You can right click it as well and send a shortcut to the desktop so you don't have to go to your aion folder to start the game.

This is a different way to start your server. i tried useing a server launcher like your before and it wouldn't work for me.

if this works report back so i now its fixed for you.

Gundum584, you are a gentleman and a scholar...and you have my gratitude. The .bat file has indeed worked. The client connects and (with a few alterations to the config files) works very well. I return again to the search to hunt for two answers for two minor questions. 1: How to create new accounts (I have changed the config file to create new accounts automatically, yet it has not resolved the issue) and 2: To locate Gm commands...items and their respective item numbers....minor things. Wish me luck on my hunt :)

One last question...is there a way to edit (configure) the events...I seem to be experiencing the joys of Christmas all year round. 0o
I am thinking it would have something to do with a .pak file? (I looked over the configs of the server and looked into the database via Navicat, but did not see any sign of an event modifier).

I'm using the same 2.0.0.2 client version and the same emu, but still don't work for me. "Failed to initialize the game" (in french "Échec de l'initialisation du jeu"). Any idea ? the bat launcher doesn't work...
