[Help] (with summon skills/petskills)

Could someone teach me what is needed to get these to work...or...semi-work?
Like...the pack-pet ...when attempting to use its inv feature...items get "stuck" and only a relog fixes the issue. Or the summons skills...none work. They all attack melee only. Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks again,

Added; Is there a way to fix the quest: Perikles's Insight (quest ID= 19004)
When I try to speak with Lavirintos, he will not engage quest chat.
