Ok this is makin' me sick

Alright, I've had the server up for days now, and have been fighting to find a client to connect. I've tried downloading numerous clients, at least 50 bin32 files and i'm starting to think it's impossible to play on a private server.

Errors from the beginning:
CLIENT 1.5.0.1
Gameguard - This program is unavailable in your country
changed bin32 folder
Game failed to initialize
changed to a different bin32 file
Game failed to initialize

Read a post about launching ncsoft and updating/installing client 1.9.0.1
changed bin32 file
game failed to initialize
changed to a different bin32 file
game failed to initialize
put the original bin32 folder back in

OMG THE GAME LOADED
logged in
Use recommended server, Seil? (ok thats not what i named my gameserver, but sure, i'll try that!
No game server available for authorization server

what the heck am i doing wrong here?!?!

it seems EVERYBODY says something different. all of these contradictory statements on how to play on a private server can't be correct.

Am I doing something wrong with my launcher? My game/login server settings?

k if your on a 1.9 aion .. just get a 1.5 bin32 an go in to the data folder on your aion an into thy quest folder an change the quest.pak to a 1.5 version

it should work after that..

thanks for all the input everyone, i did get it working, i had to run the 1.9to1.5 patch, but now all is well! ty for the input.
