Paying $50 (or more) for someone to set up an AION PTS

I have been trying to set up a local install of aion server on my computer for days!
It doesn't work. I have read dozens of tutorials and watched dozens of videos. I have Mysql, the databases installed, the client, the bat file, the bin32 file, the command prompt everything.
When I try to run it, it says "No blah game server"....
I don't know if it is cause of an ip thing, or because i play retail aion and only have the 2.5 client?
If i just have to downgrade the client then i'll wait till the private servers are updated for 2.5.

BUT! I still would like the server on my vps.
I'll pay $50 or more for this:
I have a vps hosting with hostgator.com, it's a linux server where i host some client sites and my blog.
I have heard it is possible to put the aion server on a linux, but is it possible with a regular vps that is linux?

Ok, oh impatient one, First off...I don't require and type of payment...etc. Secondly, what exactly do you mean by "It doesnt't work"?
What are the error logs reporting? What is your OS..what service packs do you have...needing a lil more info in order to try and help..what server files are you using...what client...
