    Re: People can't log in

what is "dynamic IP " ?
the firewall is ok checked it.
i found what is the problem the problem is in "mysql server" the host is shuting down how to fix it ?
and whith version is batter to use 5.1 ? or 5.5 By the way my operation system is Vista and i heart that vista taking much from a system so if i will instal Linox and i will open the server on Linox(Ubuntu) its will be batter ?

    oh god...

1 - Dynamic IP means that you change your IP address each time you connect to the Internet.

2 - Try to run the newest MySQL server (5.5, I guess). Usually newer versions have less bugs, but the problem might not be MySQL itself.

3 - Yeah, Vista sucks balls. Either get a Windows Server or Windows 7.

4 - Honestly, if you can't set the server up on Windows, you probably won't get it running on Linux.

    Good luck.

    1. i don't think that the ip is changing all the time i chacked ( and i thinmk the problem is in mysql cuz i can't stop the server with mysql administrator adn i am feeling that something is wrong with that mysql :D
    2. the new versino of mysql dosen't give me to start the server and set up the security perfomans * i don't know why :(.
    3. my computer is for vista i mean the drivers and i don't know what will happen when i will instal windows and already instaled linux and working on opening the server kinda hard with linux but ... :D
    3. what you mean by "if you can't set the server up on Windows, you probably won't get it running on Linux." ? if i understand right what you meant then you wrong its took me a while to open the server in Vista cuz all bugs
and in windows its vary easy to do it and its mast work 100 %
what about linux its a big QUESTION but i want to try the hard way XD]

    3. yes, that's kinda what I meant. in a short way: on Windows, it's a lot easier to set it up. But if you want to try it the hard way, go for linux haha :)
