chatserver to which version? ive ran most of them and had them all working publicly

it works on mine you going through external ip or local?

did you open chatserver port and make sure your chatserver password match the one in ur gameserver file? start there let me know what happens
even if you run locally via ip 127.0.0.1 it is possible to configure your stuff to connect through ur external ip and still connect to the game locally :)
just make sure all ur ports are forwarded and that you went back and config your files right
