so here is my minimum server all things cleaned for a clean server no dublis,no craps hope thats helpfull... only included the map roumen and a slime :P worked on 2-3gig

Hey i'm just wondering, why does everyone use athens files as a base?
Same question I've been asking myself for ages. Well, someone should do an OS repack. With all the recent OS updates, as far as the limit goes. That would be a nice base. :)
I think its more of a preference as an option, if we want the newer files we can use them, but as far as most skills since os has redone so many of them it would be easy to make other skills with the old animation
Well I used the first release of files to make my latest server, and i found it to be much cleaner to work with and that made it easier to add to. This is why i ask. I never found a reason to use any other release and i always found myself looking back to it even when editing for other. Also i find other files to be a mess with things out of order and such with other files. I Still wonder why people use athens files. Even you didn't give a reason behind it.
Do people think they are better than the ones released in the begining?
I have even built a server with the first files without editing the exe's or anything and they run beautiful. Not really sure why anyone edited anything in the begining. All that was done is change the locations of the shine folder, basically cause its setup to be run on multiple servers for the zones and such.
(make less files and easier to just put in 1 folder rather thand 1 per zone and 1 per world)
but it wasn't needed to run the game.
I think they use them because they think they are easier.

i used this athens files because thats so old that you dont have any useless shns , no double files and many more points thats only a cleaned server , maybe anybody need to start a cleaned server without craps and other shit ...
well yes this is my point, why not use the first ones released. They have never been messed with, no exrta files, no added item not in fiesta, no other things you don't have client stuff for and they run perfect out of the box.
