.SHN Inspecter (idea)

Hi, RageZoners.
I was editing my .SHN files When i noticed that when you have more than 60k items,
It's obviously difficult to research what Ids are available

regrettably, I'm still unable to create my own tools. ( "I" sucks... I know, useless for you to mention it.)

the idea was:

Researcher tool to find all ID available and another to compare the ID and inxName among : ItemInfo(clientfiles) , ItemViewInfo(clientfiles), ItemInfoServer(serverfiles)



to sum up :
1st tool
to check(get a list of) all ID available between the first and last of the list
2nd tool
to list of all Inxnames which are not similar for the same ID among 2 SHN file



Ps: fail english. just tell me if you don't understand, i'll change my sentences to make more senses.

I dont get why you dont just look and see if the ID you want is taken... also he prob looked at the highest ID and said, "Oh thats how many i have."

it's due to behaviours like yours that we have to make new Thread about already existing topics... containing 2 posts about the real subject and 400 others off board posts.

This sort of tools are usefull for ppl who wants to be organized in everything they do. You're not ? since you seems to think that's stupid and useless ?.

Please explain what is unique about it. Also, most of the things you listed above weren't answers but statements that were defiantly not immature. Another thing. Didn't know you were a mod <3. Also, why not just ignore the crap instead of retaliating, that just makes more trouble for yourself.

Not in either of them I dont think Kreain.

Simple way to check is to ... check, click the ID column bar thing at the top and it will sort the IDs by lowest to highest.
Then you need to use the two things you were born with, to find the ID's that are not used.

Or you can do it the easiest way in the world !
Find the highest ID and continue ?
If the highest ID = 60 000
Then make the next row 60 001 ?

make a shn with 60k lines and start on #o and increase by 1 for each line. Now translate you shn with those ID's and you will see all the open numbers
