    Action Reader buggy

    Hi

    I want to give custom animations to the fighter. I already made custom effects/sounds, but every time I put them on a animation/action throw the action reader, the wole animations mess up (the Fighter-m.dat)

    This also happens with saving without any changes made. So, the Action Reader itself is buggy.

    The only solution I could manage is Hex Editing. I understand the Hex structure of the .dat files, so I can add animations without mess up the rest.

    Is there a fix for Action Reader? Or I need to Hex Edit everytime I want to add/change some animation?

    Dontknowwn, hellos, you have Action Reader and Icon Reader? my computer delete ago 2 days and no find this programs, thanks..

    Was the source to the tool not released? If you can find it we can just adjust it to work with the new structure.

    Nobody see this is a huge necropost? This post is from 11-09-12!!

    Anyways Action Reader is super buggy dont use it, its only use is to "scout" the current actions. Hex editing is better if you know a bit of hex.

    How did you make custom animations? Like what program did you use?
    There are 2 options:

    - Copy an animation and change only the effects and sounds (like the fail crussader class)
    - Try to make a entirely new animation by changing information from .kf blocks (very dificult and time consuming, but gives pretty good results) and new effects and sounds.

    The Action Reader doesn't save the data correctly, it messes up the bone location and archer animations. In other words, if you save all effects will come from the character head and crossbow animations will become bow animations.
