Add Trickster-Mob in NPCViewInfo. Still impossible or now possible?

So, since I have my new PC and I have the opportunity so Developing with Odin files at my PC , I also experimented to add mobs like Henneath-KQ/???-Mobs in the Abyss. Create a Fighter wasn't a problem, but i tried to add a Mob like a Trickster. But I failed anyways. Is there a chance to solve this? Or is this still impossible?

Re: Add Trickster-Mob in NPCViewInfo. Still impossible or now possible?

When testing earlier last year with Dusk, only way I was able to get a Trickster mob was via the Clone, which is what occurs in 20 Job Change, only issue would be the fact it'd clone 1 player on a normal map, and I never really bothered as I didn't like the idea as much.

    Its possible.

But requires HEX editing the Client.

The modification requires very small amount of space, but its hard to find that near the specific code.

Re: Add Trickster-Mob in NPCViewInfo. Still impossible or now possible?

I love making instances with Human-Mobs and I encounter this issue when making trickster mobs. There are 2 methods of including them as a mob:

    - Load his nif without npcviewinfo row. Then turn SpectralGlow ON. You have now a ghost trickster (he displays all the skills correctly)

    - Create a new folder in reschar, make your mob with nifskope, then load his nif. You will see it correctly (this also works in old files)

These 2 types of mob cant do these things:

    - Normal atacks (they display punches)

    - Any skill that involves the waste of the souls (razor claw etc.)

    - Some lvl 100 skills

Anyway who's intrested in testing, then this fix will add a trickster option too:

    Code:

Thank you for the big help :) I think this would be a next Step for creative things with Odin files

I'm very interested in learning how you was able to read and understand that. How'd you know what to modify and that this is the right Hex/String to modify?

To everyone who's interested then read more about "Assembly language". If your not good at programming then don't waste your time with this. First learn basic programming language, this is for advanced users.

    Tools used:
IDA Pro - To find needed place and to test modified code.
OllyDbg - To edit the file (Because IDA sucks at editing).

And to be technically correct - it's Byte Array. Represented in HEX - to be human-readable.
