Yes there are. Look in the release section and start with the older files available. It'll be easier for you to start with those files, where the answers are numerous, rather than try these files and end up getting flamed from asking questions or having your thread taken off topic. Not being rude, just telling you how it is here. Good luck
If you're unable to setup a server with updated files, I'd suggest you do what Wolfy said and start with getting to know/work with older files first, because let's face it, if this is your first time attempting to start a server with no basic knowledge, even if you do manage to set it up/get someone to do it for you, you're going to run into more problems after, and you'll find yourself coming straight back to the Help section.Originally Posted by Generic

I'm not really sure that start with old files is really a good idea , mainly because certain things are different and could confuse you.
personally i don't think that's "hard" nowadays, Because the Tutu that ChubbyCrab made for us is easier than the ons for older files, i may be wrong though
So to sum up, try with odins files and if a step seems to be unclear to you, Just ask for hints or simply search in the forum archives... because almost every issues and answers are there.

The reason to why it was so easy for most of us to set up a server with the new files is because we were already experienced with old server files. So in my opinion, everyone should start with old files. I'm not saying make a public server with them, but make an offline server for you to learn from.
Athens are *powerfull*.
i would strongly recommend for you to find a base file set (unedited), and learn how to build the server up. It will also teach you how to use the shn editor tools and such.

anyway Generic, odin's or not keep in mind that we're willing to help.
lmao we are willing to help, but some of the ppl on ragezone do nothing but run at the mouth so be fair warned.

i agree start with basic server files the ones we all learned from with hardly anything in game lol trial n error adding stuffs
follow the tuts get used to the way it works and then yeah i agree once u gain enough then use odin..
