I've looked around forums and can't find any recent answers. I'm wanting to start playing a server that uses the HK files. My understanding is that those files are really hard to get, and whoever is selling them is being very hush-hush about it.

Sadly you wont find another server which runs HK Files :( - Until the 'new' server of Victus comes out.
That's a shame. In my opinion those were the best server files to date. I hope that Victus does end up doing a grand relaunch, and that the server population becomes sustainable. The files were great, only problem was that there were rarely more than 10 people on at a time.
Unfortunately it all depends on the people. If people don't vote and spread the word, no one will know that the game is available. If you want a population you have to help the staff out and let all of your friends know about it so that they can tell their friends and their friends can tell their friends and so on and so forth :)
Victus was the best server for me. Playing with the Korean/Japan mecanics but with english texts was very cool. I loved the money drops and the forge materials too.
The other server that seems to be different from the others is Ignis. It has new cool features no other server has. Sadly, it seems to be in Open Alpha Testing http://ignis.extrinsicstudio.com/
What caused Terra v2 to get shut down? I heard something about them not being able to get a key, but i'm not sure what that means.
Vesta was just announced. Seems as though it is Victus v3 (just under a different, new sounding name). Hopefully this one will last!Originally Posted by Lune

Chances are they would be the first server with the real files with crusader and other stuff anyways so doesn't really matter in the end. Depends if the guy they have in their group trusts them enough with newer files or just sells them.
Im sure he trusts us enough :3
he has Homerun & Anotherworld, Boomsky and Daybreak Online or what that games called files don't he ? will vesta open a server for them games or not make much from them ?
Vesta is a fiesta p server so it can't exactly run another game :(
