The program must connect to a website with the .rar file and then download and unpack

I don't think you can have a .bat patcher, you could have an application launcher which runs both login and patching, using the search function will help you find these.

Having a Bat File as an updater is doable but its a hectic job.
Also, checking if there's an update is something I havent tried on a Bat Script.

However, this can be easily done in Vb.net or C#.net.

Yea, don't make more work for yourself, take the smart route. Smart route being VB or C#.

You could also try looking for others in the release section if you wish. Let us know if you manage to get it working.

You literally been handed down by a Fiesta Online File updater + Launcher. Look it up.
Or if you want custom patcher, its not free.
