Change NameTag color

I want to know if it's possible to do this. I really dislike that purple-ish color for names I would much rather white. I've looked through textdata.shn but didn't find anything having to do with names. I also copied the shn from Gamigo but the name was still purple so it must be something else. But I don't know where else to look. So does anyone know how to do this? I would really appreciate it if I could change the color.

Odin's ColorInfo and the official client's ColorInfo.shn are identical except the official has one more line.

Windows has absolutely nothing to do with how your client will display text from with in the game. Maybe you should do a trial and error test before assuming how things are done. FYI it is colorinfo.shn to change the color the reason it wont change between gamigo and your client is because the data is the same the new gamigo client has different values than yours, meaning the client reads differently same shn different effect.

I made all lines in ColorInfo.shn 255,0,0 and this is what I got.



The name colors didn't change only the chat box, notices and console box turned red.

Are you an idiot ? Its because of the font and how the game.exe shows the font.. The only thing what you can do is use another font or disable clear type

no, i just know how to read. he isn't asking about font. he wants to change the color of the name text, not the text type... let me know when u feel like a dumbass..............

Clear type does make a difference in color. But honestly I like ClearType enabled on everything else. I can't find any way to disable it just for one program.
