I have copied all same name .shns from Shine to ressystem and still get this error.

this is wrong! the correct is "connection to servers has failed"
:/ i think the cause may be Rest. but im not sure. i have 2 servers running on this computer. old files and trying to get the new ones running also. ive had it before, but im not sure what changed. old files run fine, and are able to connect. ive changed the ports on the new files, and added them to the firewall list, updated my hosts file, and all the services start and stay running.
Why did you change the ports? You don't have to do that unless you want to run both servers at the same time.

i can get both. when i have the servers services off, i get the connection to servers has failed message, when i have them on i get the Your client version is different from the Server version. Please restart the client after patching., message.Originally Posted by ExtremeUser
Maybe your launcher/client is trying to connect to the wrong server? since it connects by a single IP I'd presume so...
thats what ive thought, since Rest doesnt show any connection attempts/or anything/ , but it does when only the new files server is running. i just dont know how to get both servers to run at the same time, and have both be accessible at the same time.
