So I know how to change the ip for the athens client and the gameguardless. And it runs fine on my computer. But when I try to run it on a another computer I can't log in. And I'm using the right .exe that I changed the ip for. So I figured it was because I was using the selensia files so I should use the selensia exe. but it still doesn't work at all.
anybody can help me fix this? ;o
are you using your IP or 127.0.0.1 or hamachi :3?
Sometimes firewall also blocks connectivity , also if you are behind a router you can't connect from another computer.
Thats also another thing I'm confused on. Should I change all of the ip to my ip or to some them? Because I was looking at the guide and it showed only a few ips were to be changed the rest left as 127.0.0.1. >.>Originally Posted by hamisgood87

So since both my laptop and desktop are connected to the same router I can't test it on my laptop? :(
I can run the game on the desktop the server is on. But I can't run it on my laptop :/
Disable your firewall and make sure to have your Desktop and Laptop in the same hamachi network.
did you set the client to use the hamachi ip :3.... did you join the network? did you change the ips for the server to hamachi ips?
The thing is guys I'm using my ip not hamachi q.q
I like port forwarding better than hamachi. But if hamachi is the only way I'll go install it >.<
edit: Hamachi ip didn't work either lol. I don't know what to do now. q.q

my bad i was reading this. XD Anyway i'm guessing that your not setting up the client right. or port forwarding and what not.
Actually I just noticed about the port forwarding. Where do I add my port? I already have 3 ports open, I just forgot about adding them to the config. :(

Hex edit your client.exe and search for PTS and change the IP to your hamachi-IP and save.
Turn off your windows firewall or open the ports: 9000 - 9127.
Run the services and start your client and play or whatever you gonna do.

You gotta open them in your modem/router and your computers firewall. and the ports are 9000 - 9127
