I'm looking for a Quest Editor for HK files, i need to change a few quests to change npc's! Please help!

So your post is completely useless then. Also, you're not the only one who knows how to make things, so don't assume someone else won't make one and release it.

I have one that works somewhere, although it's literally hidden somewhere in my hard drives.

@xArva That isn't very constructive to say "yes i have one but no you can't have it". I am trying to change a quest to meet the recommendations of what i require and that post isn't helpful at all.

Hello and here is something I have found in the mass amount of stuff I have collected over time.


I don't know when or were I got it. It is not a complete match as it was built for the encrypted files.
If someone can change it to the non-encrypted and re-release that would be wonderful. For all the people who worked on building this, thank you for the time and effort you put in it.


This is a questeditor with 1 problem. you cannot save a quest dialog for the quests due to the format.
You can edit the quests and make things correct.
Remember that all quests need to have an existing mob and items.
If the mob or item is missing it will dc you ether when opening the quest window or when clicking on the quest.
Everyones server is different, so I would strongly suggest taking the time and going through it and fixing things. This will take you a long long time but is worth the effort.

1. Make the files match your server with the enclosed shn tool. (If you do not know how to do this, sorry for your luck)
2. Open questeditor and make changes. (Don't ask how to use it, I will not answer. Take the time to figure it out.)
3. Take the new saved questdata.shn and drop it in your server.
4. When someone tells you I have one but I'm not giving it out, slap them with a old rotten fish.

If you are all out of option then I suggest taking Alms source for the quest editor he released and modifying it to work with HK files.
