Connection to servers failed

I have installed everything and all services run normally but when I run client, it just flashes cmd and exits. When I run the client from another computer to connect to the server, it actually launches the loading screen, then gives error 'connection to servers has failed'. Is there something else I need to do?

make sure you have the exe name in the bat correct, if so try adding the xtrap files because the exe may be trying to run xtrap.

Odin.exe -osk_server 192.168.xxxx -osk_token IL1k3t0sh1tH4rD -osk_store Google.com

that's the .bat file and the xtrap folder is in there as well. still doesn't work though :/

Have you edited the config file to be the same as your I.P. address. Also if you have it as something like 192.168.0.1, your only going to be able to connect via the computer that matches that I.P. address. If you want the computers in the same house to be running this, change that 192.168 to 127.0.0.1 in both the .bat and in the config files.

? I installed the game server on a server machine, and am getting the 'Connection to server failed' error on the client machine. From the server machine, when I try to launch the client, it just flashes cmd and exits program. I am not sure why it does that. I tried doing what was suggested [making sure .bat file had the correct .exe in it which it does] but it doesn't work. The IPs I have set in the config files and client .bat are 192.168.x.xxx (my LAN address). The IP in my dbo.tAccounts is my external client IPs (not the machine where my server is installed). Both rest server and hosts file is the localhost IP (127.0.0.1). All services start normally on the server machine. When I tried to use LAN address on my client machine, game client launches and I am able to multiclient (same machine) using all zones, as I have the server installed there as well. I was thinking I may need to open up ports in firewall to allow connections from another computer but I already opened ports 9000~10,000. Are there other ports required for this?? I want to be able to connect from my laptop to the server machine instead of running both server and client from my laptop.
