Event NPC that use different currencies

As the title says I would like to create an NPC that uses another currency other than copper, sliver etc to purchase items. Similar to the arena coins on the NA server. I'm using Odin files and cannot seem to find away around it yet but I do know it is possible, if someone would be able to point me in the right direction that would be great, thank you~~.
