Fame Removal
Need to take fame completely out of my game for a fame store
i have taken it out of all items and quests but i am struggling to find where i can take it out of the levelup system. I know it is possible because other servers have done it. Any suggestions on where to look? Thanks

._. Delete Character's Fame from DB and remove it from all quests
then on your web app you need query to add fameUPDATE
[w00_Character].[dbo].[tCharacter]
SET nFame = 0
UPDATE
[w00_Character].[dbo].[tCharacter]
SET nFame = nFame + XXX
WHERE nChar = XXX

Dude, stop being a dick about it. He want's to remove it - who cares about other servers, he is trying to make his server more appealing. So help him - if you know how - stop being a dick.

I would create a new Table in the 'Account' Database or create a new Header column in the 'tCharacter' table. First off, Fame can't be updated using a query unless the character is Offline. Second, an in-game shop is not a good idea. I mean, for FairyTail I had a reason for making it in-game using Fame but I guarantee you an easier life having it all web-based. Learn some PHP and HTML and you're good to know. You might not even need to learn HTML, use Dreamweaver for the layout of the game and learn PHP for the server side code for all the queries and stuff. Good Luck with your project.

There are 1 more thing that gives fame, titles. Everytime you get a new title, you gain some fame. Remove fame from CharacterTitleData.shn too.

He is asking about the fame you get from leveling up, not from items and quests.
As far as I know you can not remove that, I have never worked it out myself but there is always a possibility that it can be done.
If it can be done it's probably in the databases somewhere.
