You're very worried? Lol. All I pictured was someone hiding behind their computer shivering of fear. All because they can't find the odin.rar.

All the things you need to download to setup your own Odin server can be found in Chubbycrabs guide which is pinned may I add and it is in the main Fiesta Online section. All the downloads can be found in step 1. Time taken to find, 1 minute. :)

Oh I got a question tho... You guys are really good at programming and I was wondering did u guys study it or learned it by just going at it like Im doing now? And how long did it take u guys to learn all this? o.O just wondering lol for my future programming skillz :D
It's a combination of them both, both research and learning to program. I personally have done a lot of research and learned a lot from that research. I also had a very good teacher. Try finding someone that is willing to TEACH you and not do all the work for you. Follow their instructions, and when you don't or mess up, prepare to redo your server several times according to what you screw up, because you WILL screw up. We all do/did. I would also recommend not opening up your own private server to soon for the reason you need to learn, if you rush learning then you will not be a good programmer/developer. I have been developing for about three weeks now, but have spent about two of those weeks just messing around with the server and learning how the server works, how to read debug messages, and how to properly fix the service errors. I still have A LOT to learn, that's exactly why I will be opening my server up in November, if not December. So I have time to implement what I want to into my server so it can be fun for the players to play.
Another tip I have read about opening up a server, DO NOT BE GREEDY! If your doing it for money then you will not have a good server, make it fun for the players and then you will get donations. Do not make it Pay to Win either. Don't be money hungry. Make it fun for the players. Make the pvp even. And then you will have a successful server. (That's not the only things you need to have a successful server. You can read and research for what else you need).

Thnx for reply!~ Yeah I want to build a fun server, since I think almost every server I played is unbalanced. Either you have to spend K's of money to play or have to be in the right guild to be able to do everything the game has to offer. In those guilds are usually the people I dont like, cuz they got temper/greedy/cocky etc etc.
If ur ok, I want to add you to skype. As for learning myself. I installed and deinstalled everything, even my windows 7 like a few times a day ever since I started saturday~ So I'm not really talented in this stuff, but I like how each steps learns me more :D
Btw I would so love to try your server when you're going public~

I totally agree with you there man, The only server I haven't seen really play to win, is Mystic online. Every item in the game is in the NPC's besides Roars. That's the ONLY thing. The stuff you get from donating is just cool looking wings and suits that have pretty decent attributes on them, (The reason I'm talking so good about them is because the Owner of that server is my teacher and he is AWESOME!). I would be up for letting you get on my server before it opens to the public to help test it. We are recruiting CL's right now. We have four GM's right now and that's my max on them. But we are looking for Community Leaders to help out, test, and stuff like that. The thing about the server I'm creating and the staff, the staff is allowed to have a separate account and play the game, when we have at least two or three people online helping run the game at a time. They will take turns playing/working. Honestly I'm not about the money, and I'm making sure my staff isn't about the money because I don't want any greedy people working for me. But I will tell you more later :)
That's awesome! That's what you need to be doing, is learning and redoing it! After the 6th time doing it in a week for me, I got the basics down. Plus I know how to add items, stuff like that. I'm still learning how to design weapons and implement those in-game. I have someone teaching me (when I get home) to add timed items. Which isn't much different but hes going to TEACH me and not just do it for me haha. If you want we can both help each other out in building our servers? I wouldn't mind that not one bit. We can learn together or we could both even work together. Like on the same server. If you would want too?

Yeah that would be great!~ I seen a lot of helpfull people on here and I totally agree on trying to do things yourself first. But sometimes a little guidance is most welcome.
As for joining your server I can't. Because my friends and me already made an agreement to make our own server. But as a normal player or beta tester I would love to be in your server.
And I don't know what a CL is tbh. lol
Yeah I'm still total noob...
Oh and somehow I can't start the AccountLog DB Server and the OdinRestServer QQ.
