Hey Authentication Failed. (Windows 8 64-Bit)

Hey I'm wanting to start a server on windows 8(64-Bit) and I keep getting an Authentication Failed error when I try to login. Me and a friend has made assure everything is set up correctly.
Is it my operating system?

I remember someone saying that these files (and I think the game in general) doesn't work on Windows 8. I think you might have to downgrade to Windows 7 or lower if you want them to work.

I had the same problem on windows 8 Just go to Windows 7 and it will work
I heard that the .bat file with the token won't connect idk if its right :p

Damn, really? I hate windows 8. Is there any way I can try and fix it? Like get a better token script or something?

It just doesn't work. There isn't a code or anything to make it work. It's just not compatible at the present time with Windows 8 at the present time. As has been said already, if you want to play fiesta or use the files then you need to downgrade to windows 7 or lower.

You can play Fiesta on Windows 8 but can't create a Server on Windows 8 because another error (not autehntication failed)

The gamelog/character/world server are not able to connect to each other on windows 8 & windows server 2012.

Take a look at the log files and search for "No Buffer accept" or something.

If you really want to start a Fiesta Server i would use windows 2008r2. Most dedicated server hoster dont offer Windows 2012 and it suck anyway~

I do have Windows SQL server 2008 R2

I meant Windows Server 2012. It like windows 8, just for server/business stuff. And with that you would get the same problem like on windows 8 ^^

Sooo, i would recommend to use Windows Server 2008 r2 :) or Windows 7 if its your home PC

thats not right i got it to work on windows server 2012 - although its buggy - i decided to downgrade the computer to windows server 2008 r2 (r2 = 64bit windows)
