I'm probably the first to say this but, I like w8. I like how it is setup, I've got a w7 PC anyway so I can just use that for setting up a server if I need one. I'd never put my laptop back to w7 xD

you can also install 2 Os on the same machine or even a vmware ...
ill give u that some ppl like it some ppl dont personally all my time i have had 98 98 m3 se xp win 7 all old style this new 8 look is just grrrr made for touch screen i just flat out hate it, but if you like it and all your stuff works then ^5 respect

you are not the only one, i have win7 pc, but i found windows 8 is good and hardcore windows for animations i could run Easily Formula map with editions and cars Models including animations [ verts Was 71k with 137k Edges] and it didn't lag even once, now try that with wind7 or xp and i'm sure your Computer will get Fuck'd up even with a booster programsOriginally Posted by Delius

Better than the other Windows platforms, Windows 7 will probably be the last Windows I personally use, they're heading in a horrible direction if you ask me, don't need an uber OS either to code, could code on Linux just fine.
Never lose hope my Dear friend maybe they will wake up, and change the way they create windows, lets hope they do windows 9 with a better futures and looks like windows 7.
They need to take windows in the same direction as Linux.
Basically they should make the next windows like Linux, but with all the use of windows 7.

Nothing beats linux, the only downside is the problem running games on it.
But imagine windows combining their gaming power with the Linux OS, to me that just sounds awesome :)
yeah i guess if you put it that way the advantages of programing in widows with the power of linux functionality
as u put still being able to play games ,, i would give it a shot,
