How to make a Merchant NPC

How do I make a Merchant NPC for Fiesta Private Server ?

NPC's are mobs.
There's also a NPC.txt

And no I will not say how it's done fully, you have to learn something on your own don't you lol

if you look at npc.txt you will see how the merchants are set up in it then u have to build a npc item list that contains all of the items you want the npc to sell i kind of use a cheat to this cause im kinda lazy and its easier i would just copy a current npc item list from npc item list folder that is a merchant and edit it to contain the items u want and save it as the npc inx name then add the npc to npc.txt with the coords of where u want it and add the new list u made into npc item list folder restart your zones and it should appear btw a tip always use shine tables to edit an npc so u dont mess up the spacing in it

You will also need to concider the NpcDialogData.shn File. Find another NPC with same/similar function and use the dialog for that one as a model for your new NPC's dialog. Without that your new NPC will act as nothing more than a lawn ornament and do nothing. Some of the dialog .shn files get bugged when using v3.x of the editors so I use v1 for all dialog editing just to play it safe

This doesn't help , on Odin it is not as easy as you guys say it is. You add the mob , the npc , the item list and all that , but it won't appear. If i spawn it it'll be like Mob:???? <-- the number thing and then it'd be invisible and same with it on the map if i manually added it to be an NPC , it's pretty hard and not as easy as you think it'll make you rage.

It's just as easy to add an NPC on the 2011 files as it is on the 2008 files. Maybe you forgot to add it to the client files too?

By the way, nice necro, create a new thread about whatever problems you got that you can't solve on your own in the Help section.
