I'm a little confused

Hello friends!

I just had a few question about setting a server up.
1. Do I basically need to set up a server using the 08 files before I do anything with Odin?
2. If the answer to #1 is yes, are there different database files (.bak) files that come with the Odin server? If so, I don't seem to have them? Or do the database files from the 08 server just need to be renamed to the ones applicable for the Odin server?

The reason they say to start with 08 files is because it's a bit more simple to setup. That way you learn the basic stuff then move on to files that are a bit more advanced.

The 2011 files do have different Databases and should be in a folder called Databases found in the directory to all the Server exe folders. When you move on to the new files delete the old databases and start with the ones you'll find in that folder.

Thank you. For whatever reason I can't find the Odin Databases. Thank you very much for you help that's the only thing I was confused about.

• Client Manipulation FIX
• Hex-Editor, i recommend "HxD"
• SHN-Editor

It should be in Server-Services
