Hello, I make this Minecraft Diamond Sword (huh, never seen a minecraft sword in private fiesta ).

Thanks to all of us, got it to glow finally :P

Muck around within ItemViewInfo.shn on the client side, older files have it stuck within the 1 file (a few columns from UpEffect to the last UnkCol15, which house the effect that'll be used for the enhancing stages). It reads the effects out of reseffect, so if you make/use a custom effect for the glow (the one you're wanting is most definitely custom) then be sure to follow the naming scheme (ItemEffect0xx), then apply that within the ItemViewInfo.shn (eg: 25 @ UnkCol7 would be using the ItemEffect025.nif within reseffect for the +9 stage).

That'll take care of the enhancing glows, the +0 glow effect you're after would be something you'd have to snap-up by editing out one of the existing effects and modifying it to your needs/wants, then shifting that whole block within the .nif into your sword .nif so that its applied straight away within the sword .nif.

That should cover most part of what you're trying to do right now, props on the sword, looks pretty neat.

what myth said is part of it but that still wont make it work
The inner glow for weapons is also done through the nif file of the weapon.
Just like the outer glow needs the WUP01 and WUP02 NiNode on the weapon for the glow to show, it needs a certain property on the weapon to show the inner glow.
I haven't messed with the inner glow on nif files so i dont know for sure what property it is that you need to add to the weapon's mesh on nifskope.
What you could do is enchant a normal weapon ingame, then go to that weapons nif file and remove a property from it, then go ingame and check if the inner glow disappeared. If not then go back to the file and remove another. Keep doing this untill you find it and theres your answer.

thanks myth, now I known how to make the custom efect I want and put it on a wep. Never figured that the weapon texture is, in fact, a 3D model that "adds" to the weapon and merges the textures.

munozvo5, how I can attach these nodes to the sword model? Im very noob with nif scope, I only known how to port things, and play with branches and UVs

Steps I followed to do it:

1º In nif, copy your weapon branch on all LOD groups

2º Transform the old sword meshes (in this case, Vulcan Sword) to 0.0001 scale

3º Test in game. Go to options and play with LOD distance and camera until you find a LOD distance that glows the weapon.

4º Remove the LOD meshes that dont glow. Now, you can see that your weapon only apears in a certain distance from camera. To fix it, go to NiRangeLODData and put a range 0 at start, and 100

5º Done.
