Ok so we're using our Athens now after plent of useless attempts of hooking up more update files.

We noticed we don't have AR or some other maps, but then we look in res maps under AR, and there is lots of files there... but not working? thefaq...

Other thing is registration script, if anyone has working one or download that be great since my dev's time is becoming strict, as Reiji knows my DEV my life difficult in doing this server lol.

So basically,

• Why aren't the AR files working, is it something to do with having to syncronize the shine files under the _CONF area in the athens server files? if so how do we syncronize them

Hoping someone can help, however '' stupid '' these questions may sound,

If you're going to say '' if you dont know how to do this no point in trying to run a private server'' , don't bother ... the server will work, eventually lol just hoping someone can help... x.x

We could use some more DEV's so if anyone of you have some spare time, this is a server that is really going to go up there, we just need to get past all these stupid stuffs like maps so the custom content dev can get to work >.>

To add a map you gotta..
- Add it to MapInfo.shn and MapViewInfo.shn
- Add it to Field.txt
- Add it to MapInfo.shn and MapViewInfo.shn
- Add the .shmd and .shbd to \_CONF\Shine\BlockInfo
- Add the map to client, \resmap\field (\resmap\KDField for KQ)

U mean u got the Client Visual Files (resmap/AR) but i don´t work?
If it´s what u wanna tell us, here´s the solution:

But yeah, some food for thought:
There´s something called SHN Files. They are the brain of the server. The residual is just some visual / acoustic stuff which dependent from "the brain".
Look at ur SHN Files, check out if AR is included, if not just add it to the lines. AND DO IT SERVER AND CLIENT SIDE! NOTHIING WILL WORK IF SERVER AND CLIENT ISN`T IN BALANCE!

Restart (!!!) ur server, port to AR, be happy about get it working and dance around like some high as fuck child ~

Alright, adding cusom content without know how to edit SHN files is like mhhhhh....try to teach a fucking deer to fly some A 360 xD

Adding maps is one of the easiest things for Piesta server.
So plzzzzz don´t open up the 28963978312165´s "one-day-alive" server with some of this wix.com websites xD

Give him A break he has no development experience, his dev is never awake ... but yes 1 day alive probably :)
Do what sailor said, plus take some advice from me:

Learn to dev, if you have no experience and you try to run a server it will fail.
Server owners who are not developers are either rich, or stupid. :)

FYI flash, the files we're using are outdated Selesnia files, a sele staff member agreed there is no problem, they're outdated anyways, nor do we claim or advertise the content like eclipse, i didn't steal from terra, we used files we was allowed to use, if there is a '' stealing res item '' problem terra can take it up with selesnia.

They are not super outdated, only december 2011, but thats the outside date, when you delve further into their server side, you will find some nice things ... KQ instance scripts are something nice, gives something to learn from :)
