Patcher/Auto updater

I have been using the thor patcher for some time now and it has worked fine Up till trying to get the patcher itself to update ( the patcher background ect)



I was looking for suggestions of a different patcher as I have tried to google the following and have gotten next to no where.

game patcher
game autoupdater
autoupdater program
ect and more styles

So I was wondering if anyone could point me to a customizable patcher.

OR

If someone could help explain making a patch for the patcher to update, I think it is something to do with my settings are not right, other then this the patcher works just fine.

Stu released a launcher creator here on Ragezone.

To update Thor patcher (the patcher itself) you need to use the "CheckSum.exe" tool. Then add the new sum in "main.ini". Should look like:

"[Patch]
//use CheckSum tool, hash for client & patcher
// used to make sure exe is up to date
// (leave empty to disable this feature)
ClientSum=
PatcherSum=XXXXXXXX"

where XXXXXXXX = the new sum. Save it and put the new patcher in your Thor web folder. Don't remember exactly what folder, so just put it in the main and the patches folder I guess. You don't have to edit plist.txt when updating patcher.
