    Re: Registration Via Website

    Your right it is nasty xD
    But it will do for now,
    Thanks for the help.

    Here we go I worked out A HTML to add the IP link to your website, it looks a lot better than that iframes small box crap xD

    <iframe src ="http://127.0.0.1" width="100%" height="400">
    <p>Your browser does not support iframes.</p>
    </iframe>

    Just change the link to your own, and adjust the Hight to what you want.
    Hope that helps more "noobs" like myself ;)
    It's still an iframe, so when you click it the scroll bar shows, depends how big you make it I guess, the only thing with the iframe HTML is it wont let you change the hight and this will.

    This is how it looks with the new HTML:
    http://www.avengeronline.com/registerhere.htm
    Feel free to register ;)

    Re: Registration Via Website

    No. That wouldn't work. If he's using a host for this domain website, the PHP script would be looking for the SQL Database on THEIR server, not his. Also, a lot of hosts do not have MSSQL for PHP enabled. If he wants his register page on a different server, he'd have to work out a way to connect it to connect to his SQL server, either from getting the host to enable MSSQL, or using something else like PDO, and have his SQL server port open so that the other server can connect.

    Re: Registration Via Website

    It does work, I tested it last night xD
    It might have something to do with xampp, sometimes it decides to close xampp when i log out of the dedi.
    But it does work fine, don't see any problems with it, just tested it again and it registers the account and sends the info to my SQL DB ^^
    Probably because it is iframes, just has a size adjustment added to the HTML
    And no im not on my own dedi with the website, another company hosts our website, and the game its self is on another host.
    I prefer it this way, since if the dedi crashes, at least the site works so I can update players about the down time.

    Except for the fact that if it was actually on a different host than your game, that would mean you already got the remote DB connection setup; so why are you even bothering with that iframe instead of just adding the registration on your avengeronline.com? That just doesn't make sense.

    Besides, you'll never be allowed to hide your real IP, unless you make a proxy and get 2 dedis, and have your client connect to the proxy which sends the data to the real server. Doubt that's gonna happen.

    Re: Registration Via Website

    I'm not a very good blagger am I xD
    But thanks for the information about hiding it stu ... I spent about 5 hours on google trying to work it out and nothing ...
    So why is your IP not hidden when you have the code encrypted?
    I tried about 8 different sites and they all show your IP but hide everything else ... not very good me thinks.
