[Request] Zone Damages Fix and CPU [CN 2012]
Hello guys,
I would like know if it is normal when i add the Zone Fixed by LoveDec for the CN Files, this zone take a lot of power of the CPU compared to others zones and the old bugged zone.
It is a bug or just my vps is not suffisant to support this files?
What is the minimum RAM required?
It is possible to make it uses less RAM?
Thank you in advance.

Re: [CN 2012] Zone Damages Fix and CPU
You can run a (full) server with 6GB but at least 8GB is recommended. I'm not sure about the memory usage increase though.

Here is what it takes to run 1 zone on my computer. I'm pretty sure the usage is the same on all computers.

Re: [CN 2012] Zone Damages Fix and CPU
If you look at what I was trying to show you, you will see I showed you a before and after image. The CN zones use about 1.4gb of ram each. This does not include the other exes. You asked about the zone, therefore I gave you an answer on the zone. Please do not ask questions, if all you are going to do is argue the responses you get.

Sure, but Wicious said we can run a full server with 6 ~ 8 GB RAM, so i would like understand why when i start my full server, that use ~100% of the CPU and if it is relate with a Zone/Exe Bug.

Re: [CN 2012] Zone Damages Fix and CPU
No it has nothing to do with the bug. As the bug has been resolved. It does however have to do with the capability of the CPU. I have an FX 6300 that is overclocked from 3.5ghz to 4.1 ghz. So my CPU is going to have the ability to handle it. Just the same as I have 32gbs of ram @ 2400mhz, so I have the ram and ram speed to handle it. All these things take part in running a server, just the same as running a resource intensive game. You can go get a cheap dedi, but just because it has a 4 or 6 or even 12 core CPU does not mean it can handle. Remember you pay for what you get.

As regards to this screenshot, please keep in mind that I have a shit ton of other things running as well. Just the server alone my CPU hits around 20%. Here is a screenie of just the server its self running.

Omg nice CPU!
So I must change my hosting for a dedi with a better CPU frequency right?
Thank you verry much for your reponse. You're really nice nice!

Hi, my name is Dec, and I am here with love.
This does seems strange indeed if the older zone's do not have a similar usage. I can only assume you are comparing the OS2010 files to the CN2012 files, correct?
If so, this seems like some sort of memory leak, what exactly are you doing to cause this? Possibly some of the loaded data could be causing this, so yes, please check your assert files and report back.
