Setting up on a virtual box. Client help

I have the Apollo Client on a Virtual Box. This means it just had a clean install of windows 7.
When i run the game.exe a white box opens for a split second then closes.

What is wrong? Someone told me to install redistributable packages and all that. I did before and it still made no difference? Am i being a total idiot? Whats wrong? It opens on windows 10.
