So like i'm just now getting around to this.

Exp Recalculation text. i've tried various different ways searched many posts. But no solution on how to edit the Exp recal .txt without an error. Honestly i'm looking for NextIdea to nudge me toward the solution.

Have you edited other .txt files as well, I mean without errors?
This file also follows simple rules you must keep in mind, not to break it.

I have written something like this, but didn't find it (In KDev maybe).
    • Do not edit the header.
    • Do not edit any table headers.
    • Between each value you need at least 1 tab.
    • Record numbers must be in growing order. (There are some exceptions, where this rule doesn't apply)
    • After ";" everything is ignored until line end. (Obviously this is comment symbol)
    • If table has CheckSum column make sure you recalculate it if you edit any values in that row. (Its not really hard to figure out which columns are included in CheckSum)
    • File ends with "#END".
    • Reserved keywords aren't case-sensitive.
    • Use common sense when something goes wrong, read the logs, they are self explaining in most cases.

Yes I have edited other .txts before, CheckSum?? What do you mean by checksum though? As in all of the values within ExpRecalcuation added? and making sure the new values still add up to the same amount?

Just read that line again till you realize that this won't apply to your current file :S

It's not a troll, read my previous post.
I just posted important things you must keep in mind when editing any of the txt files, so I won't have to post them again
and because some rules won't apply to all files, then those are as conditional sentences.

Would be nice to know what was the problem also.

Re: So like i'm just now getting around to this.

it would say that there is a error in the Exp Recal txt wouldnt say where. im guessing the Exp must be a set value. say it was 5000, then for 1 person 1200 then for two 1100 then for three 1100 then for four 1200 then for 5 5000 . i had wanted to change the 5th to like 7k so that there would be a little extra party boost and either way i tried it gave me a error.
