    SQL database error

Ok, Before I get mean people to troll me. I'd like to state that I DID look up my problem and tried to
deal with it on my own for over a day now. And I'm positive I'm doing something completely wrong, but I don't know what that is yet. So will somebody take screen shots of what I need to do in SQL to set up the database? And yes I know about this guide -> http://forum.ragezone.com/f593/serve...-guide-654573/ but I'm not understanding the restoring. If somebody is willing to step by step explain to me. I'd appreciate it a lot, thanks. ^-^

This is the error I keep getting.

I don't know what to name it at all. I was just giving it a name since the guide isn't very detailed for somebody that doesn't know anything. :/ The only databases I've ever messed with were on Microsoft Access. That is completely different from this SQL :/. Just a little more detail in explaining on what I'm supposed to do with this SQL part would be awesome. :/

http://forum.ragezone.com/f593/serve...-guide-654573/ this guide is fully understandable. the problem is that you don't want to read... you want screenshots of every single step.

For somebody's first time using such a program. Thats no where near understandable, he didn't explain to restore EACH database by its self nor did he even explain even a little what restoring was. By stating restore with file you'd expect to put all the databases in a file and restore them all at once. You can sit there and say I didn't read it or you could help since this is the help section. I figured it out on my own after looking up things about SQL, since nobody wanted to help over that.

Now I'm stuck at the ServerFiles setup and the client parts.

    Open your server files folder
    Open "_CONF\config.txt".
Edit the ODBC info at the end of the file.
Also edit the IPs if your making it public.

    The Client
I recommend you use the Athens-Fiesta client.
You can start the client by right clicking Athens.exe and going to properties.
Add "-i 127.0.0.1" to the end of the target or replace it with your IP.

Edit it to what huh? Edit which Ips? This why screen shots are more helpful then a short guide that doesn't explain enough. Do I use my own Ipv4 ip or something like this 76.184.61.44? And with the athens client by installing it and then changing the ip. That means anybody that wants to download it and join would have to edit the ip as well right? This guide would probably work only for experienced people not beginners.

    Re: SQL database error

for the config.txt just read the last rows and u will notice where the ODBC info goes...

and for the client... of course all the ppl that wants to join ur server need an exe with ur IP, where are they going to connect if u dont use ur ip? common sense even if u are noob ._.
