Lol @ Family computer.
What version of sql server are you using?
He's using SQL management studio 2008 express.
This error pop-ups when you do what?Restore db?Clicking on Db collumn?
It appears to come up when he is trying to restore the database at least that's what I got from it, From what I read its a common problem for people with bad installs and or people who like to mess with settings and don't know what they do
Yes is a problem with the install or with the login.
When installing make sure to install the 100% same way the step by step guides tell you is the only advice I can give you.
Other things you can try
Also make sure when restoring databases that they are not corrupted,
try to re download the database and restore it again.
Make sure the database is not on an external drive or flash drive make sure it is on the C drive and or main drive of the PC
So today was the first time joining to one of those wannabe-kdevs and the very first thread i read is this one.
- Seeing the problem -> Okay, thats easy.
- Reading the answers -> http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-mBQXJWVzoj...dIJustRead.jpg
I mean, it's not like the actual problem just stands in his screenshot, waiting for someone who's going to read it.
I'm not going to stroke the dead pussy, i just wanted to get you knowing why theres no 'real community' like someone begged for in another thread.
The message says: Error Not Found.
The database he wanted to recover: C:\Foreveralone\...\Account.bak\Account.bak
This took 10 replies to get solved...
File not found, File account.bak is not exits.
@onggiax Don't move the .baks
