    big grin Sqlsrv & Godaddy

    Hey everybody.

I have a question, are you able to use the sqlsrv PHP extension with Godaddy?
If anybody was able to do this, could you tell me how?
I placed a php.ini file in my root directory and put the .dll file in there also.
After putting "extension=php_sqlsrv.dll" whatever in the php.ini file, it still doesn't load the extension when I view the page via phpinfo.
I know that an alternative is hosting part of the site on the dedi, but this method is really unsafe, so I want to try to get this solved.
By the way, my hosting details:

    Provider: Godaddy
    Server: Linux
    PHP Version: 5.4

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

You can give up now to try host a server over linux, iptable will block loopback.

Ive already tryed with a VM and Linux behind.

No, the website is hosted with Linux, not the server.

So what's the best alternative to this? MSSql? I thought that no longer works or something.
