step by step guide to creating a server?

HAY! i've recently started lurking around here but i'm having trouble finding a tutorial on how to create/manage a server. If at all possible i would like a step by step guide to create a server, then given a general idea on how to change values. (IE. Drop rate, Exp, Money)

I have some knowledge how to work with C# so if that is needed i can use that.

There are plenty of guides out there on how to get your server started. Here's a few links:

It's all pretty simple, just gotta follow the steps.
